Love, art and money can make for a vicious Threesome.
Marie wants to get as far as she can from the 1970s tribute act she’s been roped into, while Luke is just getting started. They’ve not left nearly enough time to get ready for the best paying (and most morally questionable) gig they’ve ever booked tonight. And they’ve just finished up a threesome. With their agent. Everything will probably be fine? Right?
Threesome is a funny and surprising new play, that explores the tension between making a living and making a life, the tribulations of a tribute act, and the desire to compete with the one closest to you.

Isabella Forshaw – Director
Isabella is a director from London who makes work that is vivid, punchy, and fundamentally joyful. She is drawn to stories that have a real human heart, and her work is often darkly comedic, socially engaged, with a hard-hitting core. She is a champion of new writing, and has made work across the Fringe in Edinburgh and in London. Isabella has just completed her MA in Drama Directing at Bristol Old Vic Theatre School.

Aneurin Taylor – Writer / Luke
Aneurin is an actor and writer based in London. ‘Threesome’ is the first play he has written and produced for the Edinburgh Fringe. Aneurin has done stand up comedy in London and in the UK regionally, including his own songs. And this year, has appeared in three films: “Pols an Mor” directed by Poppy Shaw, “Martha’s Tuesday” directed by Cal Day, and “The Tragedy of Dartman” directed by Claudio Clemente Cerne.

Olivia Barnes – Marie
Originally from Chester, Olivia is a 2026 graduate of Bristol Old Vic Theatre School. She is delighted to be returning to the Edinburgh Fringe as Marie in ‘Threesome’ and is excited to share this story with audiences this summer.
