If you’re in Scotland, it’s easy to forget the Edinburgh Fringe is a huge deal. The biggest arts festival in the world, and the third most ticketed event in the world after the Olympics and World Cup!

Our programme In The Fringe is a yearly opportunity where we give young actors (16-26 years old) the chance to be actively involved in a production here at Braw Venues during the Fringe. Specifically targeted at students and actors early in their careers, In The Fringe is a superb experience. A useful addition to any blossoming CV, but also a chance to experience a month in Edinburgh in full-on fringe mode!

This year, we welcome a cast and crew from New York, who will be performing Techies, a sharp, funny, and self-aware musical comedy that celebrates the people who make theatre happen – often without being seen. This production sits proudly as part of our Edinburgh Fringe 26 programme.

Going forward, we aim to grow the project, offering young actors from various places around the globe a chance to be on stage here.
