Braw is a Scottish word that means excellent or extremely pleasant, and whilst we seem like a new name, the organisation behind BRAW VENUES – Edinburgh Little Theatre has been established for almost 20 years. Initially an active member in the Edinburgh theatre scene, we have grown into a major independent production and events company.
Having delivered a hugely successful fringe in the last few years, in 2025, we showcased 50 shows from around the world. We love to spotlight the best independent productions, home-grown talent, established international acts, individuals with amazing stories, seasoned professionals alongside ambitious first-timers, old classic tales and new ideas, the interactive and experimental…
Our only criteria in all is that we are inclusive to all – and audiences, performers and our in-house team all add to the unique, magical atmosphere, that’s unmistakably, the Edinburgh Fringe.
Meet some of our team…
